Giving Tuesday 2016

Tuesday, November 29, 2016

This November 29th, join the Giving Tuesday movement and donate. By taking part in this national day of charitable giving – Giving Tuesday – you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of the neediest within our Eastern Massachusetts communities.

This year, as a proud partner of the John Hancock Non-Profit Boston Marathon Program, our Catholic Charities Team is working hard to raise funds for our at-risk youth programs. We urge our friends and benefactors to consider supporting these children by contributing to our Boston Marathon fundraising efforts on Giving Tuesday.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 by the end of the day on November 29th – Giving Tuesday.

Your Giving Tuesday contributions will directly aid local youth through programs that support their health, wellness, productivity, leadership development, and education. In the City of Boston and Eastern Massachusetts, youth are faced with gang violence, drugs and many complex issues. We help young people address these issues with an informed and rational perspective through our many programs:

  • South Boston T.E.A.M. (Together Engaging Adolescents through Mentoring)
  • Sunset Point Camp in Hull
  • Teen Center at St. Peter’s in Dorchester
  • Youth Mentoring Programs
  • Youth Tutoring Youth (YTY)
  • Child Care

You can make a lasting difference in a child’s life this busy holiday season. Join us on Giving Tuesday and support our Catholic Charities Team.
