Community Service Center Director
The Catholic Charities Haitian Multi-Service Center in Dorchester prepares and assists immigrants in their struggle for social and economic self-sufficiency in America. The Center promotes community development through a "Haitians-serving-Haitians" model in a culturally and linguistically familiar environment. In 1984, the Haitian Multi-Service Center joined Catholic Charities. Today, this Multi-Service Center is the largest social service agency serving the Haitian population in Greater Boston. The center serves families from the Greater Boston metropolitan area. We are currently searching for an experienced Community Service Center Director to provide leadership for our Haitian Multi-Service Center. The selected individual will be responsible for programs and services including program development, quality assurance, budget preparation and monitoring of financial statements, oversight and monitoring of public contracts, supervision of program director staff, oversight of agency and Catholic Charities policy and procedures, and employee supervision. The Community Service Center Director is responsible for fundraising and development activities as well as the responsibilities of coordinating the Haiti disaster response for CCAB. The candidate will work closely with the HMSC Advisory Board on budget, finance, and program matters and any other areas of concern to the Board. The director will also serve as a liaison to the Haitian and broader communities as a representative of Catholic Charities. A Graduate degree in Social Services, Education or related field is required. The candidate must possess seven to ten years postgraduate experience in human services or education, with five years of supervisory and/or administrative experience. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team; knowledge of family services, alternative education, child welfare and/or community services, potential to develop fundraising skills in both the public and private sector. Development and Volunteer Officer
Catholic Charities External Relations Department at the Central Office in Boston seeks a full time Development and Volunteer Officer. The Officer is responsible for directing the volunteer service and fundraising initiatives of our Young Professionals (YoPros) a volunteer committee that supports our mission through fundraising and service projects. The Officer is also responsible for the planning, organizing and directing of all other agency volunteerism including coordinating events. Development Associate
Catholic Charities Central Office in Boston seeks a full time Development Associate. The Development Associate is responsible for the general support of the Development Department and is a member of the External Relations Department Team. The role of the Development Associate is to provide information, support and services to help achieve goals and support our mission. The candidate will represent clients before EOIR and with US CIS.
