George Quintal, Jr.

George Quintal, Jr. is a native of Gardiner, ME, but currently lives in Worcester, MA, where he devotes his time to his church in the inner city. He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. His book "Patriots of Color", tells the story of African Americans and American Indians who fought at the Battle of Bunker Hill, Charlestown MA, 1775. His painstaking research uncovered approximately 120 new minority identities, untold stories that literally and figuratively change the faces of the Lexington & Concord and Bunker Hill battles. He is currently working on a new book, "Minute Men of Color" and is documenting all of the soldiers of color who served at Saratoga and Valley Forge. Quintal, Jr. is also a consultant for the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. He is the father of three children, all of whom live in Maine.
