June 1, 2010- On May 20th Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Boston held its annual fundraising event at the John F. Kennedy Library. The event raised $1.330 million, achieving its fundraising goal. Funds raised will support more than 190,000 people who rely on the agency's 140 programs and services across Eastern Massachusetts.
The event highlighted our Refugee and Immigration Services and hosted the launch of its complimentary video, "Welcoming the Stranger." The video was edited and partly filmed by the generous staff at Cramer. The rest of the footage was provided by Boston Univeristy Film School graduate students Matt Lewis, Josh Poole, and Divya Nair as well as Catholic Relief Services(CRS).
