Catholic Charities Receives Generous Grant Support

This week, we are honored to announce that Catholic Charities of Boston has been selected to receive three very generous grants from area organizations. This financial support enables us to continue serving our community members in need.

                 

The Boston Resiliency Fund announced that Catholic Charities of Boston will receive a $55,000 grant to support on-going COVID-19 relief efforts.

Massachusetts Unemployment Insurance Information- Available in Multiple Languages

As COVID-19 continues to affect individuals and families across the state, we want to ensure that we provide you with the most up-to-date information and resources available to you.

In The Pilot: Adapting Mental Health Services to COVID-19

This month, Callie Armstrong, LICSW, the clinical director of our Family Counseling and Guidance Center, shared some insights with The Pilot about how CCAB has adapted mental health services for our clients during the COVID-19 pandemic. CCAB is proud to provide an array of behavioral health services to more than 600 adults and children ages three and up.

With the recent COVID-19 pandemic affecting all of our lives, we’ve seen an increased demand on our food pantries, shelters and beyond.

The health and safety of our staff, volunteers and sponsors remains our first priority. With this in mind, we made the difficult decision to pivot our annual in-person Spring Celebration to a virtual format.

2020 Census Awareness Weekend

As we continue to physically distance, one way to come together is by filling out the 2020 Census. Doing so helps direct billions of dollars of federal funding for things our communities need, including roads, schools, and hospitals for the next 10 years. April 1 was Census Day – but the 2020 Census is still ongoing. People who have not responded can still respond by internet, phone and by mail.
