Interim President and CEO Kevin MacKenzie to Serve in Permanent Role
On Tuesday, June 23, Massachusetts Immigration and Refugee Advocacy (MIRA) Coalition hosted a Safe Communities Act Virtual Town Hall meeting, and Catholic Charities of Boston's Community Interpreter Services (CIS) team provided a simulataneous interpreter for the Spanish-speaking participants at the virtual event.

Catholic Charities of Boston Receives United Way COVID-19 Family Support Fund Grants
$200,000 in Grants to Support Basic Needs Services
BOSTON (June 9, 2020)—Catholic Charities of Boston is pleased to announce that the agency is the recipient of $200,000 in grant support from United Way of Massachusetts Bay’s COVID-19 Family Support Fund. The grants will support the COVID-19 relief efforts of Catholic Charities of Boston North in Lynn, in addition to supporting basic needs services across the agency.

Catholic Charities Teen Center Awarded Rodman Foundation Grant
$10,000 grant to support COVID-19 relief response
BOSTON (June 3, 2020) – Catholic Charities of Boston’s Teen Center at St. Peter’s was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from the Don and Marilyn Rodman Foundation to support COVID-19 relief efforts in the community.
BOSTON (June 1, 2020)—Catholic Charities of Boston’s Teen Center at St. Peter’s is one of 130 local nonprofits to receive grants through Cummings Foundation’s $20 Million Grant Program. The award, totaling $100,000, will be spread out over five years. The Dorchester-based Teen Center was chosen from a total of 738 applicants during a competitive review process.
Catholic Charities’ Teen Center provides programs and services to approximately 200 teens in the Bowdoin-Geneva neighborhood of Dorchester, focused on academic support and recreational activities.
