Catholic Charities of Boston Celebrates Black History Month: Part 7

In honor of Black History Month, our colleagues from around Catholic Charities of Boston share their reflections on iconic Black heroes from throughout history who inspire them.  In Part 7 of this series, Basic Needs Case Manager Yuri Sanchez-Rijo shares that she looks up to Rosa Parks and Michelle Obama for their courage and conviction.

"These women taught us to have the courage to stand up for what we believe in and demand change. No matter where we come from in life, we too can do and accomplish anything with grace and dignity."
