This year, CCAB is proud to be participating in the Rodman Ride for Kids, an annual event that raises crucial funds for youth-focused social service organizations in Massachusetts, including our programs at CCAB. The mission is for all children in our community to have every opportunity to grow and succeed.
Earlier this month, we were pleased to announce the appointment of Board Chair Kevin M. MacKenzie as chief executive officer. He has been serving as interim president and CEO since Dec. 1, 2019.

Teens living in the Bowdoin/Geneva neighborhood of Dorchester are exposed to gangs and violent crime at an early age. Coupled with a 32% child poverty rate, these youngsters can be quite vulnerable to the fear and intimidation of gangs. Catholic Charities of Boston believes in the limitless potential of every child, and that teenagers should be able to laugh, play and learn in a supportive and safe environment.
