Make a Big Impact from Home by Donating a Vehicle
Did you know that you can support Catholic Charities of Boston’s programs by donating more than just money? Our Vehicle Donation Program makes it easy to donate a car, truck, RV or boat that you are no longer using, and we use the proceeds from the sale to support our 70+ programs and services that help the most vulnerable in our communities.
Here are a few reasons why you may consider donating your vehicle to support CCAB:
Shelter Services: Supporting Residents + Community Members
Catholic Charities of Boston is proud to operate five temporary and permanent residential shelters in Eastern Massachusetts, dedicated primarily to women and children. Our shelters in Dorchester, Lowell, Newton Roxbury and Somerville serve almost 50 families and 130 people, and act as safe havens for young pregnant women, young mothers, women suffering from substance addition, those fleeing abusive situations, and homeless women.
All of our shelters are staffed by trained women and men who help guide each resident through their path to self-sufficiency and independent living.
2020 Census To End One Month Earlier
The last day to participate in the 2020 U.S. Census will be September 30, 2020. Previously, the last date to complete it was October 31, and the loss of one month could lead to a significant undercount, especially for people of color and immigrants.
COVID-19: A Four Month Update
We are now over four months into the COVID-19 pandemic that continues to have a widespread impact on Catholic Charities of Boston’s 70+ programs and services.
