Catholic Charities News
Catholic Charities of Boston is extremely grateful to Mayor Walsh and the Boston Resiliency Steering Fund Committee for their most recent grant of $40,000 to continue the work we do to support Bostonians during this time. Catholic Charities will use BRF funding to support staff who are packing and distributing food bags to more than 1,500 households at its pantries on Columbia Road in Dorchester in the South End. The two pantries distribute approximately 80,000 pounds of food each week.
"The adversity we face today shines a spotlight on all the reasons we have to be grateful." - Patrick Hewett, vice president for Advancement at Catholic Charities of Boston.
