As our communities, and country, continue dealing with the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, support from local community partners remains essential in helping our programs at Catholic Charities of Boston continue to serve our neighbors in need.
This week, we’re excited to highlight two generous and supportive community partners who recently donated goods to CCAB.
Curry Hardware in Quincy, MA recently donated 2,000 masks to our agency. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is so important to our staff members to continue to serve our community members safely. This donation enables our staff to continue serving on the front lines- in our food pantries, shelters, child care centers and beyond. Thank you, Curry Hardware, for this very generous donation.
Recently, Megan from Hamel, Marcin, Dunn, Reardon & Shea PC visited our St. Ambrose Family Shelter with a donation of 20 backpacks filled with school supplies and other items as a part of the Ropes and Gray Backpack Program. The program has been in place for over 20 years, and the children of St. Ambrose Family Shelter are very thankful for the new school supplies to begin the school year!
Thank you to all of the amazing local organizations who contribute time, money and goods to help us continue to make a positive impact in our communities. We couldn't do it without you!
