Catholic Charities Boston Welcomes Paula Finnerty as Senior Vice President of Advancement
Catholic Charities Boston is pleased to announce the appointment of Paula Finnerty to the role of Senior Vice President of Advancement at Catholic Charities Boston, in which she will oversee a sustainable fundraising program to ensure and enrich the diversified services that Catholic Charities delivers to thousands of families across Eastern Massachusetts.
A dedicated leader and innovative fundraiser, Finnerty most recently served as the Chief Development Officer at Women’s Lunch Place, where she led a team that significantly expanded sources of philanthropy, helping to advance their mission. Her expertise in implementing strategic plans, board development, and fundraising best practices has enabled organizations like the Boys and Girls Club, Boston Children’s Hospital, and the New England Aquarium to thrive and lends a deep understanding and appreciation of Catholic Charities’ values and mission to help those most in need.
Finnerty is a seasoned expert in establishing key partnerships in the community and building brand awarenessthrough strategic marketing campaigns. Over the years, she has played a vital role in bettering her community, serving on the board for a number of Greater Boston organizations, including the James Library and Center for the Arts, Norris Reservation Turtle Count Team, and Invest in Norwell. Finnerty holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science from Boston College.
