Labouré Center Receives $5000 Grant from Holland America Line
Catholic Charities Boston’s Labouré Center was one of three Boston-based charitable organizations to receive a $5,000 grant from Holland America Line in honor of its 150th anniversary and 25th year cruising in Boston. The funding will directly support the Labouré Center’s wrap-around services and programs.
Catholic Charities Trustee and Labouré Advisory Board President Matthew Wells, Maureen Murray, Stewardship Manager of the Labouré Center, and Molly Mcpheron, Office Manager of the Labouré Center, attended the event on behalf of the Agency, while other guests in attendance included Massachusetts State Senator Nick Collins and Massachusetts State Representative David Biele.
“Boston is a key homeport for our brand, with two ships here for the summer and fall,” said Gus Antorcha, Holland America Line President. “We’re thrilled to celebrate these milestones today, as well as honor three organizations that make significant contributions to the city and people of Boston.”
