BOSTON POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS CHARITY HOCKEY GAME TO BENEFIT CATHOLIC CHARITIES YOUTH PROGRAM
BOSTON, MA - Boston Police Department all-star hockey team will take on the Boston Fire Department team at Brighton’s Warrior Ice Arena, home to the Boston Bruins practice facility. All funds raised by this event will directly benefit Catholic Charities of Boston city youth programs and the Boston Firefighters Burn Association.
Last year, BPD won the contest, 7-5, in front of a crowd of over 800 fans and raised $30,000 for Boston Firefighters Burn Foundation and Franciscan Children’s.
Puck drop is set for 2:00 p.m. and the doors will open at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 and children under 12 are free. Tickets are available at www.nhl.com/bruins/community/battle-of-the-badges.
