The Amelia Peabody Foundation awarded Catholic Charities of Greater Boston Teen Center at St. Peter's $40,000.00 for continued programming.
The primary mission of the Amelia Peabody Foundation is to increase the number, range, and depth of positive learning experiences available to materially disadvantaged young people living in the cities and towns of Massachusetts.
"The grant will support the Teen Center at St. Peter's, which is critical to addressing the needs of children and teenagers in the Bowdoin-Geneva community of Dorchester," said CCAB President Deborah Rambo. "This generous funding will support the positive youth development activities as well as the College and Career Center at the Teen Center," she added.
